Group Training - Apprenticeships and Traineeships

Real Skills! Real Jobs!

What is Group Training?

Group Training is an employment and training arrangement whereby an organisation employs apprentices and trainees under a training contract and places them with "host" employers.

How does Group Training Work?

Group Training is the easiest way to take on apprentices and trainees. With Group Training, host employers get all the advantages of carefully selected apprentices and trainees, short or long-term, without the hassle of paperwork, payroll and dealing with other agencies.

We employ apprentices and trainees and then place them with host employers for as long as they need them. We take care of the paperwork for wages, allowances, work cover, superannuation etc, while the employer provides the on job training component. WORKCO Field Officers visit the workplace regularly throughout the period of the apprenticeship or traineeship to make sure everything runs smoothly. They handle issues such as work performance, training and training providers, wages and entitlements, Government allowances and subsidies.
